Tile / flooring calculator
Enter your floor area and tile size to get the number of tiles (with wastage) and the material cost, at state-wise rates.
How it works
Tiles needed = floor area × (1 + wastage) ÷ the area of one tile. We add a wastage margin for cutting and breakage, then cost it at your state's per-sq-ft rate.
- Keep ~8–10% wastage for cuts, corners and spares.
- Adhesive, grout and labour are extra.
