What can I build with my budget?

Most people start with a number, not a size. Enter your budget and see the built-up area you can build in India — and how it changes with the state, city and finish you pick.

How it works

It's the cost calculator in reverse. Instead of size × rate = cost, it does:

Rough guide (mid-size city, standard finish ≈ ₹2,100/sq ft)

BudgetApprox. built-up area
₹20 lakh~950 sq ft
₹30 lakh~1,430 sq ft
₹50 lakh~2,380 sq ft
₹75 lakh~3,570 sq ft
₹1 crore~4,760 sq ft

Budget calculator FAQ
How much house can I build with ₹30 lakh?
Roughly 1,400–1,600 sq ft of built-up area at a typical city rate for a standard finish — more for Basic, less for Premium. Set your state and finish above for an exact number.
Does the budget include land or registration?
No — it's construction cost only. Land, external works, GST and stamp duty / registration are separate. Budget about 10–15% extra for those.
Which finish should I pick?
Standard is a safe middle. Basic stretches your budget to a bigger home; Premium/Luxury give a smaller, higher-end build for the same money.
