Privacy Policy

• You can use the calculators, reports and guides without giving any personal information.
• We only collect personal details when you submit a form — the architect-introduction request (Meghalaya pilot) or the architect signup.
• We use a third-party form service (Web3Forms) to deliver those submissions to us by email. We do not sell your data.
• We use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand overall usage. We do not send your name, phone number or email to analytics.
• You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time — see Your choices.

• Architect-introduction request (Meghalaya pilot): your name, phone number and city/town, plus the non-personal context of your estimate (state, configuration, finish, built-up area). We collect this only to arrange an introduction to an architect in the pilot.
• Architect signup: firm name, your name, city, state, phone, optional email, COA registration number and an optional portfolio link. We collect this to review the application and, if suitable, contact the practice about the pilot.
• Consent record: the fact that you ticked the consent box on a form.
• Usage data (analytics): non-identifying events such as page views, calculator completions and report views, with non-personal parameters (e.g. state, finish, area). This helps us improve the product.

We do not knowingly collect more than we need, and we do not collect payment details anywhere on this site.

When you submit a form, your details are sent from your browser directly to Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form-delivery service, which forwards the submission to our email inbox. Web3Forms therefore processes the data you enter as part of delivering it to us. We recommend reviewing Web3Forms' own privacy terms for how they handle submissions.

The form uses a public client-side access key. This is standard for browser-based forms and is not a secret; it only allows submissions to be delivered to our inbox.

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate usage. GA4 may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to distinguish sessions. We deliberately keep personal data out of analytics — we never send your name, phone number, email or precise address to GA4. If your browser blocks these identifiers, the site still works fully.

• Us — the SimpleHome operator, to respond to your request.
• Web3Forms — as the form-delivery processor described above.
• An architect in the Meghalaya pilot — if you submit an introduction request and a suitable professional is available, we may share your project details with them so they can contact you. Submitting a request does not guarantee a match or a response.

We do not sell your information or share it for third-party advertising.

We keep form submissions only as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable record-keeping, after which we delete or anonymise them. We are finalising a specific retention schedule; until then, you can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will do so.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you have given us, or withdraw your consent. Email us at hello@simplehome.in and we will act on your request. Because SimpleHome operates in India, we aim to handle requests consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.
