RCC slab calculator
Enter the slab size and grade to get the concrete, steel and material cost — using state-wise material rates.
How it works
Slab volume = length × width × thickness. The concrete is split by the grade's cement:sand:aggregate ratio (with the 1.54 dry factor), and steel is taken at a slab thumb-rule of ~80 kg/m³.
- M20 is common for house slabs; M25 for heavier loads.
- Steel quantity follows your engineer's bar bending schedule.
RCC Slab Calculator FAQ
How much steel in an RCC slab?›
A common thumb-rule is about 80 kg of steel per cubic metre of slab concrete — confirm with the structural design.
Which grade for a house slab?›
M20 (1:1.5:3) is typical for low-rise homes; use M25 where the engineer specifies.
