How it works
Wall volume = length × height × thickness. Bricks = volume ÷ (brick + mortar joint), plus ~5% wastage; the mortar gives the cement and sand.
- 9-inch walls are stronger; 4.5-inch for non-load partitions.
- Foundation, columns, gate, plaster and paint are extra.
